Raj K. Goyal, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified, fellowship trained corneal surgeon for over fifty thousand Chicagoans since 1994. Dr. Goyal's experience and treatments include: laser vision correction (a.k.a. LASIK), stitch-less cataract surgery, advanced custom cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and lasers, retinal disorders, corneal surgery; treating patients of all ages, children included.

After receiving his bachelor's degree and medical degree from The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C, Dr. Goyal completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Chicago. He later completed a prestigious fellowship program in corneal, external disease and refractive surgery at The Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. At that time, he trained with some of the pioneers in refractive laser surgery and has been performing laser vision correction since it was approved. After serving as a medical director for several years at The Laser Center of Maryland, Dr. Goyal subsequently moved back to Chicago to practice ophthalmology.

In June 2007, Dr. Goyal became President and Medical Director of Chicago Eye Specialists. His mission is to offer the highest quality patient care by utilizing the safest and most advanced technology at a convenient location in the Chicago south side neighborhood of Chatham. Dr. Goyal uses highly sophisticated equipment and treatments to assist his patients from blurred vision, infections, glasses/contacts, cataracts and much more.

Dr. Goyal has lectured nationally and internationally on eye diseases and procedures. In addition, Dr. Goyal is an Assistant Professor at Rush University in Downtown Chicago. Dr. Goyal's exclusive training and experience provides the safest and most advanced eye care in the area.
